Mini golf is one of the rare bonding activities for my family. I digged a mini golf

course in the snow to show my effort in wanting to connect with my family even

though they are across the country. In designing the golf course in the shape of the

character “home” in Mandarin, I enhance the idea of family and connection.

While digging through the snow and ice, I realized that I wanted to fill up my

guilt of not making enough effort to connect with my family when possible.
